1. Acceptance
Welcome to PawWalks ("PawWalks — Walk & Claim", "we", "us"). By using this app, you agree to follow these Terms of Use ("Terms") and take responsibility for pet profiles you manage. If you do not agree to these Terms or later updates, stop using the affected features (see section 11).
2. Service description
PawWalks is a mobile app for walk recording, territory exploration, map display, and pet growth tracking. The app is provided "as is" and may change with updates. Important changes will be shown in the app or release notes.
3. Your responsibilities and prohibited use
You may not use this app for illegal, infringing, or disruptive behavior, including without limitation:
- Violating local laws, animal-control rules, or public order;
- Infringing intellectual property, image, privacy, or other rights of others;
- Harassing, stalking, threatening, defrauding, or maliciously reporting other users;
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized access to the app or its backend;
- Uploading malicious code, viruses, or unlawful content.
Violations may result in account suspension, feature restriction, or legal liability.
4. Accounts and sign-in
The app supports two modes:
- Guest mode — all non-account features (adding pets, recording walks, viewing local data) work without an account. Data lives only on this device.
- Signed-in mode — once you register with email one-time code or Sign in with Apple, you can use cross-device sync, pet-ID sharing, and backup.
You should keep your credentials secure. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. Content ownership and license
You keep ownership of pet photos, profiles, and walk records you add. You grant PawWalks the rights needed to process that content only as required to provide features such as profile management, maps, reports, import, backup, and sharing. The app itself — icons, UI, copy, branding, code, and data structure — is owned by PawWalks and its licensors and may not be used for other purposes without permission.
6. Information is for reference only
PawWalks records walks, routes, turf, weather context, and pet activity for personal reference only. It is not veterinary, medical, safety, or legal advice. For health, behavior, or emergency situations, please consult a qualified veterinarian or other professional.
7. Outdoor safety
You are responsible for following local leash, cleanup, park, building, and animal-control rules, and for deciding whether your dog, the weather, traffic, and surroundings are safe for a walk. Any personal injury, property damage, animal conflicts, or other risks arising from outdoor use of the app are your own responsibility.
8. Subscription and billing
The app offers an optional monthly auto-renewing membership:
- Purchase and renewal are handled by the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple ID;
- Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
- You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy.
9. Liability limits
To the extent allowed by law, PawWalks is provided as is. We are not responsible for losses beyond what the law requires that result from GPS drift, network interruption, device limitations, third-party map services (such as Apple Maps and WeatherKit), third-party authentication services, or unsafe use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Third-party services
The app relies on the following third-party services, whose own terms apply when you use the related features:
- Apple services (Apple Maps, WeatherKit, Sign in with Apple, App Store In-App Purchase, and others);
- Supabase (authentication, database, and cross-device sync infrastructure).
11. Termination and stopping use
If you do not agree to these Terms or later updates, stop using the affected features. You may delete pet data inside the app, leave local feedback, or email zlxcx001@163.com to delete your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to your account in a reasonable manner in case of serious violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may change with app updates. Material changes will be announced in the app or in release notes. Continuing to use the app after material changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are interpreted under the law of the jurisdiction where PawWalks operates, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply where applicable. The app is not directed at children under 13.
